Q. What is a VIP private transfer ? A VIP private transfer is a transportation service where an entire vehicle is reserved exclusively for you and your party. Upon your arrival at Charles de Gaulle Airport, a professional driver will be waiting to meet you – often in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name.
You will be escorted directly to a private car (typically a comfortable, high-end vehicle), and the driver will depart as soon as you are ready, without waiting for any other passengers. This means no stops en route except your own destination.
The service includes assistance with your luggage and a direct, door-to-door journey to your hotel or address in Paris. VIP transfers are highly valued by business travelers and anyone seeking a convenient, private and time-saving ride after a long flight.
It offers a premium level of comfort and personal attention, ensuring a stress-free start to your visit.
A shared shuttle transfer is a cost-effective, door-to-door transportation option from the airport, where you share the ride with other travelers headed in the same direction.
Instead of having a private vehicle all to yourself, you will be in a comfortable shuttle van with a few other passengers. Our scheduling system groups passengers with similar destinations or routes so that the shuttle can operate efficiently. The driver will drop each passenger off at their respective hotels or addresses, one by one.
Because the vehicle is shared, the fare per person is lower than a private transfer, making it a budget-friendly choice. You still get picked up at the airport and dropped off at your accommodation, but you might make a couple of stops along the way for the others.
We manage a fleet of shuttles (over 30 vehicles) to minimize waiting times and route each shuttle logically. In short, a shared shuttle provides an affordable door-to-door service with the trade-off of a slightly longer journey time compared to a private ride, since you may stop to accommodate fellow passengers.
No, we do not charge anything extra for traffic delays. All our transfer prices are fixed in advance, meaning the rate you agree on when booking is the final price you pay. Even if there is heavy traffic on the way from the airport or an unexpected road closure that slows the journey, your fare remains the same. We don’t use taxi meters, so you won’t be penalized if the ride takes longer than expected. Our driver’s goal is to take you to your destination as quickly and safely as possible, but rest assured that any time lost in traffic will not cost you more. There are also no hidden fees for things like tolls or airport parking – everything is included in the quoted price.
Tipping: Tipping the driver is not obligatory. Our drivers are paid for the service, and there is no set expectation of a gratuity. However, if you felt that your driver provided excellent service and you wish to show appreciation, you are welcome to give a tip. Even a small amount (for example, rounding up the fare or a few Euros) is appreciated. It is entirely up to you – a courteous gesture rather than a requirement.
Luggage: You do not have to pay extra for your luggage. The transfer price includes the
transport of both you and your baggage. Our vehicles are designed to accommodate typical luggage needs of travelers. For instance, a standard shuttle van can easily fit several large suitcases and carry-on bags for up to 8 passengers. The driver will assist you with loading and unloading your bags at the airport and at your drop-off. The only time you might need to inform us in advance is if you have any very oversized or special items (such as a bicycle, skis, or an unusual number of suitcases), just so we can ensure the assigned vehicle has sufficient space. Otherwise, there is no additional luggage fee – the price quoted covers everything.
The travel time from Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) to your hotel in Paris depends on the location of your hotel and the traffic conditions at the time of your trip. On average, here are the estimated journey times:
Paris North (nearest to CDG): Approximately 60 minutes. If your hotel is in the northern arrondissements of Paris or around the periphery closer to the airport, the drive is usually around one hour under normal traffic.
Paris City Center: Approximately 75 minutes. For central areas of Paris (such as around the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Champs-Élysées, etc.), plan on roughly an hour and 15 minutes of travel time in typical conditions.
Paris South: Approximately 90 minutes. Destinations on the far side of the city (southern arrondissements or beyond) can take up to an hour and a half to reach, since the shuttle or car must traverse the city.
Please note these times are estimates for normal traffic. During peak rush hours (early morning or late afternoon on weekdays), the trip can take longer than these averages due to congestion. Conversely, during off-peak times or late at night, the journey might be quicker than the estimates above. Our drivers know the local traffic patterns well and will take the fastest feasible route. They may also use real-time traffic GPS to avoid major jams when possible. In all cases, we recommend leaving a bit of buffer time if you have appointments or reservations, but generally you can expect about 1 to 1.5 hours of drive time to central Paris locations.
After you have booked a transfer with us, meeting your driver at Charles de Gaulle Airport is straightforward. The exact pickup procedure depends on the type of service you booked (shared shuttle or private transfer):
Private Transfer: If you reserved a private transfer, our driver will be waiting for you inside the arrivals area of your terminal. We track your flight arrival time, so the driver will arrive accordingly and will typically be standing just after you exit customs and baggage claim. Look for a sign with your name (the driver will be holding it up to greet you). There is no need for you to place any calls upon landing; simply walk out to the arrivals hall. The driver will assist you with your luggage and escort you directly to the vehicle parked nearby. Since this is a private service, once you meet the driver you will depart immediately for your destination.
Shared Shuttle: If you booked a shared shuttle, the pickup is also easy, but it works a little differently because multiple
passengers need to meet the shuttle. After you collect your luggage and come out to the public arrivals area, you will need to call our dispatcher at the contact number provided on your reservation (we provide a toll-free number and have English-speaking staff). Our dispatcher will confirm that you are ready for pickup and direct you to a meeting point just outside your arrival terminal where the shuttle van will pull up. (Charles de Gaulle has specific shuttle pickup zones, and we’ll guide you to the exact spot.) Our driver will meet you there, help load your bags, and introduce themselves. Since this is a shared ride, the shuttle may wait briefly for any other passengers who are part of the same shuttle grouping, or you may make a few stops in the airport complex if we are picking up others from different terminals around the same time. Once everyone is on board, the driver will depart and drop each passenger off in turn at their destinations. Even for shared shuttles, we monitor flight times and coordinate pickups so that things run as smoothly as possible. You’ll receive clear instructions in advance, and our team is just a phone call away when you arrive to make sure you find your driver without any trouble.
Peace of Mind and Reliability: With a private transfer, you book in advance and your driver is guaranteed to be there when you arrive. This means no worrying about whether you’ll find a taxi in the queue or if an Uber driver will accept your ride request. After a long flight, it’s reassuring to know that your transport is already arranged and waiting for you.
Meet & Greet Service: Our transfer includes a meet-and-greet at the arrivals hall. The driver comes inside with a placard bearing your name and welcomes you. Neither taxis nor standard ride-shares provide this personal meeting service – with them, you have to locate the taxi stand or a designated pickup area and find a car on your own. Our approach is more welcoming and especially helpful if you are unfamiliar with CDG Airport.
Fixed, All-Inclusive Price: When you book a transfer, you get a confirmed price that covers the entire trip (including any tolls or airport fees). Taxis in Paris do have flat rates to the city now, but if you go beyond those zones or add stops, the meter could run higher. Ride-share prices can vary with demand and might surge at busy times. Public transit is cheaper, but if you’re a family or group, buying multiple tickets plus onward transport to your hotel can add up. With our service, you know the cost upfront, and there are no surprises. It often turns out to be cost-effective for groups, as you pay per vehicle, not per person.
Comfort and Privacy: You will have a vehicle just for you (and your group). In a private transfer, you are not sharing space with strangers. You can relax, stretch out, and even take a nap if you’d like. Our vehicles are spacious, clean, and usually more comfortable than a typical taxi vehicle. Public trains or buses, by contrast, can be crowded, noisy, and you might have to stand or guard your luggage. A private car or van offers a far more comfortable environment after a flight. If you have children, they can be in their own safe space (with our child seats as needed) rather than in a public carriage.
Time-Saving (Direct Service): Our driver takes you directly to your address. There are no intermediate stops (except if you specifically requested an additional stop). This door-to-door service often saves time compared to public transport, which might involve transfers or walking at the end. Even against taxis or ride-shares: at CDG, sometimes there are lines for taxis, and ride-share pickups can be a bit confusing or require waiting for your driver to arrive. With a pre-booked driver already on-site, you typically get on the road faster. Also, our drivers use their knowledge and traffic apps to choose optimal routes; they won’t unnecessarily prolong the route since the price is fixed.
Professionalism and Language Help: Our chauffeurs are professionals who drive for a living and take pride in good service. Many taxi or ride-share drivers are also professional, but with a pre-booked service we can ensure a high standard (drivers are vetted and often receive additional hospitality training). They are courteous, help with luggage, and won’t hesitate to answer your questions about local tips or the city if you ask. As mentioned, most of our drivers speak good English, which can be a major plus if you don’t speak French – you might not always find an English-speaking taxi driver readily. Communication and service quality are areas we focus on.
Flexible Vehicle Choice: By booking in advance, you can choose the type of vehicle that suits you (sedan, minivan, luxury car, etc., depending on availability). A larger group can ensure they get a minivan that fits everyone. If you have a lot of luggage or special requirements (like a bicycle or pet), those can be arranged ahead of time. With a taxi or on-demand ride-share, you get whatever vehicle comes, which might not always be ideal for your needs (for example, a small taxi might not have space for 5 suitcases, or an UberXL may not be immediately available).
Added Amenities: Our private transfers often come with small extras – for instance, the driver will have bottled water for you, and some of our vehicles offer free Wi-Fi or other comforts (especially if you book an executive class car). These amenities aren’t typically available in a regular taxi or bus. Even the small things like having the air conditioning set just right, or being able to request a quick stop (maybe you want to stop at a pharmacy or ATM on the way) are easier to accommodate in a private transfer scenario.
Safety and Accountability: As discussed, our company is licensed and insured, and our drivers are accountable to us (and to you) for providing a safe journey. With a reputable service, you have recourse through the company if anything isn’t satisfactory. While Paris taxis are generally safe and regulated, a private transfer eliminates the possibility of getting into an unlicensed cab or being overcharged. With ride-shares, there is a rating system, but drivers vary widely in experience. Our dedicated service ensures a consistently safe and secure experience.
In essence, a private airport transfer combines the convenience of a taxi with additional reliability, comfort, and personalized service that other options can’t match. It’s the least stressful way to get from Charles de Gaulle Airport into Paris. Many travelers appreciate starting their trip this way, especially if they are jet-lagged or carrying lots of luggage. While a taxi or public transport might save a bit of money in some cases, the value of a pre-booked transfer often far outweighs the small difference in cost when you consider the comfort and peace of mind it brings.
Our transfer services (whether shuttles or private cars) operate on a pre-booked basis due to both legal and logistical reasons. In France, only licensed taxis are allowed to pick up passengers without a prior reservation. Private shuttle services and chauffeur cars (known as VTC) are required by law to have a booking before picking up clients. This means our drivers cannot accept walk-up customers at the airport or be hailed on the street in the way you would hail a normal taxi. If you approach our vehicle without a booking, the driver is not legally permitted to take you.
From a practical standpoint, we also schedule our vehicles and drivers according to bookings. When you reserve in advance, we allocate a driver and a vehicle for your transfer at the specified time. This ensures a car will be ready and waiting for you. If you have no reservation, there's a high chance all our drivers are busy with other scheduled passengers, and you would experience a long wait or might not be able to be served on the spot. By booking ahead of time (online or by phone), you guarantee your slot and we guarantee our availability.
In summary, advance booking is mandatory for our service because of French transportation regulations and so we can provide reliable service. It’s a quick and easy process to book, and it gives you peace of mind knowing your airport transfer is confirmed. When you arrive at CDG, you won’t have to worry about finding transportation – your driver will be there, as arranged, because you booked it in advance.
Yes, all our shuttle vehicles are non-smoking, climate-controlled, and spacious enough for groups. We maintain a strict no-smoking policy in all vehicles for the comfort and health of our passengers. Neither drivers nor passengers are allowed to smoke inside the cars or vans at any time. This ensures that when you step into the vehicle, it’s clean and odor-free.
All vehicles in our fleet come equipped with air conditioning (as well as heating for the colder months). We understand that a comfortable temperature is important, especially after a long flight. The driver will have the vehicle properly cooled or warmed as needed, and you can always ask them to adjust the temperature to your liking.
In terms of capacity, our standard shuttle vans can seat up to 8 passengers, plus the driver. They are typically modern minivan models specifically chosen for airport transfers, with ample legroom and headroom for passengers. Even with 8 passengers, there is dedicated space in the back for luggage. For example, a full 8-seater van can usually accommodate a large suitcase per person (or equivalent) without issues. If your group is larger than 8, we can provide multiple vans or make special arrangements (we also have larger minibuses on request). For smaller groups that book a private sedan or executive car, those vehicles generally seat 3 to 4 passengers comfortably. No matter the size, all our vehicles are air-conditioned, clean, and maintained to a high standard, offering a pleasant ride into the city.
Yes, we do. We are committed to providing reliable transport for all travelers, including passengers with disabilities or limited mobility. If you use a wheelchair or have mobility challenges, we offer services to make your airport transfer as smooth as possible.
For wheelchair users, we have accessible vehicles available on request. These are typically spacious minivans with the capability to either stow a wheelchair or, in some cases, accommodate a person seated in their wheelchair (via a ramp or lift). If you or a member of your group needs to stay in their wheelchair during transit, please inform us in advance – we will arrange a van equipped with a ramp/lift. Our drivers are trained to operate these and will secure the wheelchair safely inside the vehicle. If you have a folding wheelchair and you are able to transfer into a regular car seat, our driver can assist: the wheelchair will be folded and placed in the trunk, and the driver will help you into the car.
We also assist those with limited mobility who may not use a wheelchair but need a bit of extra help. Our driver can meet you inside the arrivals area (for private transfers) and help you navigate to the vehicle. They will handle your luggage and make sure you are comfortably seated.
To ensure the best possible service, we ask that you notify us about any mobility needs when booking. There is a field in our booking form or you can tell our agent if reserving by phone. There is no additional fee for requesting an accessible service – the price is the same, we just make the necessary arrangements to accommodate your needs.
Paris’s airports also provide assistance services (for example, you can request airport staff to help with a wheelchair through the terminal), and we will coordinate with any such services as needed. Our goal is that from the moment you meet our driver, you’ll be in good hands. We take pride in being friendly and helpful, so you can expect patience and understanding if you require a bit more time or aid during boarding and disembarking. Your comfort and dignity as a passenger are very important to us.
Yes, we can provide child seats or booster seats for infants and children – and we do so gladly, because safety is paramount. If you’re traveling with a baby or young child, simply let us know at the time of booking how many child seats you need and the age (or weight) of each child, so we can select the appropriate type of seat. We have a range of child restraint systems available (e.g. rear-facing infant seats, forward-facing toddler seats, and booster seats for older children). Our team will ensure that the driver arrives with the required seat(s) already installed in the vehicle.
There is no extra charge for child seats or baby boosters – this is a complimentary service. We strongly believe that every child should travel securely. While French law does not require taxis to provide car seats (taxis have certain exemptions), we hold ourselves to a higher standard for safety. By arranging a transfer with us and requesting a child seat, you can be confident that your little one will travel in a proper, secured car seat just as they would in a private family vehicle.
When you meet your driver, the child seat will be ready and the driver can help you strap your child in safely. All our child seats are modern, clean, and meet EU safety regulations. Families often find our service convenient because it saves them from lugging their own car seat through the airport. Just remember to mention your need for a child seat during the booking process (or add a note in your online reservation) so we can prepare it for you. Your child’s comfort and safety will be well taken care of during the ride.
Yes, our drivers speak English and often additional languages as well. We know that many travelers arriving at CDG are international visitors, so we prioritize having drivers who can communicate in English to make the experience easy for non-French speakers. When you book with us, you can expect that your driver will at least speak basic English, and most speak it fluently. They will be able to greet you, confirm your destination, and chat with you during the journey if you wish, all in English.
Besides English and French, some of our drivers also speak other common languages such as Spanish, Italian, or German. If you have a specific language requirement, you are welcome to mention it when booking (for example, in the comments section of the reservation form or to our customer service agent). We will do our best to match you with a driver who speaks your preferred language, though we cannot guarantee availability for every language at all times. In any case, our dispatch team and support staff definitely have English speakers, so communication via phone or email will be handled smoothly.
The key thing is, you will not be left struggling to communicate. Even if English is not your first language, it often serves as a common language between our staff and travelers from around the world. Our drivers are courteous and used to assisting tourists, so you should feel comfortable asking questions about Paris or the service during your ride. We aim to offer a multilingual service to make sure language is not a barrier to a pleasant and professional transfer experience.
Yes, we offer a flexible booking policy because we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. If you need to modify your reservation (for instance, change the pickup time, date, flight number, or destination address) or cancel it altogether, you can do so by contacting us.
For modifications, it’s best to let us know as soon as you can. We will update your booking details accordingly and send you a confirmation of the changes. There is usually no fee for making reasonable changes, such as adjusting the time due to a flight reschedule or adding an extra passenger, as long as the new request is something we can accommodate with our available vehicles. Our team will work with you to make sure the transfer still meets your needs.
For cancellations, we have a straightforward cancellation policy. If you cancel within a certain period before the pickup time (commonly 24 hours in advance for most bookings), there is no charge or penalty at all – you can cancel free of cost. We provide a full refund if you had prepaid, or simply won’t charge anything if you opted to pay on the day. Even if you have to cancel last-minute due to an emergency or unexpected situation, we try to be understanding and will not levy unfair fees. We do appreciate notice as early as possible so we can adjust our drivers’ schedules, but we know sometimes it can’t be helped.
To change or cancel your booking, you can call our customer service number or manage your booking through our website (if online amendments are supported). Our staff will confirm the change/cancellation and guide you on any next steps (for example, refund processing). Always keep a note of your booking reference number when you contact us – it helps us find your reservation quickly.
In short, you are not locked in if your plans change. We strive to be flexible: you can book with confidence knowing that if you need to change or cancel, it can be done easily and without hassle.
We take passenger safety very seriously, and we adhere to all safety regulations for transportation services.
Driver qualifications: All our drivers are fully licensed by the relevant French authorities to provide passenger transport services. This means they have undergone the required training and background checks, and they carry a professional driver’s license (often called a VTC license for chauffeur drivers, or equivalent for shuttle drivers). They are experienced drivers who are familiar with Paris and the routes from the airport. We emphasize safe driving practices, and our drivers are instructed to always follow speed limits and traffic laws. They also won’t take unnecessary risks on the road – your safety and comfort come first.
Vehicle safety and insurance: Our fleet of vehicles is modern and well-maintained. We conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on all cars and vans. Any vehicle used for your transfer will be in excellent working condition, clean, and equipped with standard safety features like ABS brakes, airbags, etc. More importantly, every vehicle is properly insured for commercial passenger transport (this is mandatory by law). This insurance covers the vehicle, the driver, and the passengers in the unlikely event of an accident or incident. So, when you ride with us, you are covered by comprehensive insurance throughout the journey.
Additionally, we are a registered transportation company operating under French law. We carry the necessary permits and commercial insurance policies to run an airport transfer service. That includes liability insurance for passenger transport. We would be happy to provide details of our licensing or credentials if you have any concerns – transparency is part of safety in our view.
Health and cleanliness: As part of keeping passengers safe, we also ensure the vehicles are kept clean and hygienic. Especially in light of recent global health concerns, we make sure to sanitize our vehicles regularly and can provide hand sanitizer in the car if needed. Our drivers will assist you safely, for example, by helping with luggage in a manner that’s comfortable for you.
In summary, yes – our transfers are very safe. We combine professional drivers, well-maintained insured vehicles, and compliance with all safety regulations to protect our passengers. You can relax and enjoy the ride knowing that you are in good hands and fully insured from start to finish.
Peace of Mind and Reliability: With a private transfer, you book in advance and your driver is guaranteed to be there when you arrive. We keep a close watch on flight arrivals and are prepared to adjust to any changes in your flight schedule. If your incoming flight to CDG is delayed, you do not need to worry – our driver will be aware of the new arrival time. We ask for your flight number when you book precisely so we can track it. Our team uses the flight tracking information to see if you’re arriving early, on time, or late. In case of a delay, we will automatically update your pickup time on our end, and your driver will arrive at the adjusted time. There is no extra charge for this wait or delay adjustment; your booking includes reasonable waiting time after landing, and a flight delay is obviously not your fault.
For extremely long delays (e.g., if your flight is postponed to the next day or cancelled), we appreciate if you can keep us informed or confirm the changes with our customer support when you have a chance, but we will also do our best to accommodate the new situation (rescheduling your transfer or canceling if needed, without penalty).
If your flight arrives very late at night or in the early morning hours, we will still be there. Our airport transfer service operates 24/7. Paris is a city that receives flights at all hours, and we have drivers on duty round the clock. So even if you schedule a pickup for 11:30 PM or 4:30 AM, it is not a problem – someone will be assigned to you. We do not charge a night surcharge; the price quoted is valid regardless of the time of day. The airport itself has less activity late at night, but our service remains fully active.
Importantly, for late-night arrivals, having a pre-booked transfer adds security – you won’t have to worry about the availability of taxis or public transit (some of which stop running late at night). Your driver will be there as promised. If by chance your flight lands early morning but was the last flight of the day and there’s a slight delay, rest assured our driver will still wait for you even if it’s past midnight.
