Room 2 addresses the emergence and affirmation of the Resistance from 1940-1942. Room 3 recounts the epic saga of the Resistance going on the offensive from November 11, 1942, to June 6, 1944. Room 4 showcases all objects related to liberation. Finally, Room 5 reflects on key future milestones. The Emile Jean Museum, established in 1973, is the brainchild of the Historical Society of Villiers and is situated in Villiers-sur-Marne.
