The building, now designated a historical monument, houses collections dating from the Paleolithic era to the present day. Portraits of Antoine Parmentier, Jean de La Fontaine, and Robert de Luzarches are engraved into the monument's facade, while depictions of Jeanne Hachette, Pierre l'Ermite, and Jean Racine grace the ceiling of the grand salon.
